2011 Chestnut Sabino Colt
TKA Bandolero is likely the last of our "golden
cross". *Sigh* His dam, Glory is having difficulties getting in
foal, and we have been dreading this day since she started gifting
us with her wonderful babies! "Spirit", as we call him in the barn,
is as solid as he is tall! He is a sabino and has so much chrome
that we can see him bright as day under a moonlit sky! He is the
typical Braveheart/Glory baby - pretty with brains, talent, and an
"in your pocket" disposition. He will not leave people alone and
craves attention. Spirit will easily exceed 15 hands. His 3 year
old brother, TKA Megastar, is over 15 hands now and still growing,
and Spirit was just as tall at birth as Starsky was - maybe even
taller!
Spirit is very solid-minded. He is a great mounted
shooting prospect and should excel in the western division. Because
he is Glory's last foal, we are not eager to sell him; however, we
will consider parting with him if we found the right match between
horse and owner. Spirit is eligible to win big money at the NY
Morgan Breeders Sweepstakes weanling and 4 year old Under Saddle
class held at the NY Morgan Regional Horse Show in Syracuse, NY
every fall. We think he will be very competitive in the saddle
class, as his full siblings have proven their athleticism and work
ethic in the show ring time and time again with open, A-rated, and
Regional wins!
