2005 Dark Chestnut Colt

TKA Blaze of Glory is the fourth foal in what we have come to consider our “golden cross” between HollyBrook Braveheart and Up Hyre Morning Glory.  We can’t find words to express how thrilled we are with him.  Glory’s largest foal yet, Scooter (as we call him) was born with the longest legs!  The size of his knees and his hocks indicate he is going to be tall!  Sporting a wide star, strip and snip, coupled with a dishy head, big eyes and little ears, Scooter is sure to be a head turner anywhere he goes!  Just a quick look is all it takes to know what breed he belongs to - he totally bespeaks “Morgan!

Scooter is a carbon copy of both of his brothers, TKA Charm Attack and TKA Twice Charmed.  Not only does he have the “classic” facial marking and beauty common to this particular cross, but also the friendly, easy-going temperament which makes him such a joy to handle!  In addition, he is extremely intelligent.  Scooter is a quick learner, and it didn’t take him long to learn to lead, walk over tarps, move away from pressure, etc.  In the same fashion as his brothers, Scooter’s way of going indicates he will excel in the western division.  He certainly has a beautiful head, so he should wear the silver well! 

His pedigree boasts Morgan great after Morgan great – champions such as Heart to Heart, Waseeka’s Moonshot, Showtime, Upwey Ben Don...the list goes on.  In addition, Scooter’s dam, Up Hyre Morning Glory, is a Regional Champion driving horse.  His sister, TKA California Girl, whom we are planning to retain for our breeding program in the future, just made her show ring debut this May as a yearling!  She won her halter class and then went on to be pinned Grand Champion Mare at the Western NY Morgan Show.  We are confident that Scooter will hold his own in the show ring as well!  It’s in the genes!
