1988 Bay mare.
Nemours Royal Doll is an incredibly well-bred mare, and
she has the looks to go along with her very prestigious pedigree.
As a youngster, Doll was a popular poster child for the well known
Nemours Morgan Farm. With her beautiful Lord Appleton head, the
DuPonts chose her several times to grace the back cover of The Morgan
Horse magazine as part of the advertisement campaigns for their farm.
She is by the great Lord Appleton, and out of a Lord Appleton daughter,
Nemours Royal Adora. In addition, she carries the blood of other
Morgan greats such as Ulendon, Orcland Leader, Vigilda Burkland, and
Upwey Ben Don! Lucky for us, Doll is a relatively young
mare! When we visited Whistler's Morgan Farm and were able to see what
she had produced for Laurie Willert, we were sold! Standing a solid
15.1 hands tall, Doll is passing on size and beauty to her foals, as
well as friendly dispositions. Over the course of the next few years, we
plan to breed Doll to our stallion, HollyBrook Braveheart, as well as
to a few select outside stallions. We simply adore the '04 filly
she produced for us by The Corsican Bay, and we look forward to her
future foals as well!
